Dr. Andrea Mierzynski completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto in 1987. She graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1991 and has been in private practice ever since. She has enjoyed practicing in the Bloor West Village for over 20 years. She is married with 3 teenage children.

She has served on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Association of Optometrists and on the Advisory Council for TLC the Laser Centre. Fitting specialty contact lenses for the film industry has been a part of her busy schedule. She has a special interest in ocular disease and laser refractive surgery and has enjoyed working with various media agencies fulfilling the role of advisor for articles on eye and health related topics.

Outside of the office she enjoys travelling with her family, photography and gardening.
